Hello Fabulous 7-upper Families!
Congratulations! We have survived the first "week of school! We all enjoyed hearing about the summer activities each of us shared with the class. Turns out, some classmates visited the same places too! I am looking forward to learning more about the new 7th grade class over the course of this year. We are hitting the ground running this year, so be watchful of school news from Ram News, Principal emails, and Middle School updates. Speaking of which, here are a few things to take note of for this week:
Clarification on the snack policy: students may bring a personal snack each day without giving notice to me. The 24 hour rule is for classroom or team treats, which allows me to notify the families in case there are allergy concerns, and for families the option of sending in an alternative snack/treat if there is concern. Sorry if I confused you at Back-to-School-Night! MEMORY starting next week will be said Thursdays, with 3x written due Wednesdays. If a student recites memory before 8:30 am, Wednesdays, he/she will not have to write that week's memory 3x. However, if he/she does not pass memory with a 'C' or better, he/she will need to write 3x each to be turned in by 8:45 am, Thursday. Also, only one memory verse may be recited per week, unless we are making up missed assignments. Lastly, just a note for the year we, the 7th Grade class, can all abide by in the classroom and in life... "Before you speak, T.H.I.N.K.! Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind?" Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
