This Holy Week the 8th graders have been talking through the Life of Jesus in religion classes with Vicar Kyle Borcherding. They were able to reflect on everything Jesus did while he was on earth and everything he did for us on the cross. All of that came to a culmination as we observed Good Friday as a class at the Tre Ore service.
I pray your family is able to enjoy this reflective, yet joyful time of the church year. In lieu of keeping today's focus on Jesus's death on the cross, I only have a few reminders for you: 1. There is no school on Monday as we observe Easter Monday as a school. 2. Next week in Fine Arts Festival. There are several 8th graders who have not yet turned in their permission slip and $3. Please turn that in as soon as possible. Have a blessed Easter weekend!

This week in Language Arts class we talked about Journalism, specifically broadcast news. After coming up with story ideas and presenting pitches to the rest of the class, the class chose three stories to produce in smaller groups. Wyatt's idea of covering our track team, Eddie's idea of covering our new greenhouse, and Zach's idea of exploring kitchen dangers will begin production soon! I'm excited to see what they come up with.
Some things to keep in mind:
